What does “Research Use Only” mean?
Every product we supply is a reference compound or research chemical offered strictly For In-Vitro Research Use Only (RUO). These materials are not drugs, foods, cosmetics, or dietary supplements. They have not been evaluated by the FDA and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. They are sold for laboratory and in-vitro research only and are described solely as research-grade material. For the full statement of this restriction, see our RUO Policy and Terms.
Are these products for human or veterinary use?
No. Our products are not intended for human or veterinary use, consumption, or administration, and they may not be used in or on humans or animals. Verity Peptides is a supplier of research chemicals only. It is not a pharmacy, not a compounding pharmacy under FDA Section 503A, and not an outsourcing facility under Section 503B, and it does not dispense, compound, or prescribe. Anyone ordering from us is acquiring material for legitimate in-vitro research alone.
Who is eligible to purchase?
You must be at least 21 years of age to purchase from Verity Peptides. Products are sold to qualified buyers who are acquiring them solely for lawful in-vitro research. By placing an order, you certify that you are a qualified buyer, that you understand the research-use-only nature of the products, that you have the training and facilities to handle research chemicals safely, and that the products will not be used in or on humans or animals.
Verity may rely on that certification and may request supporting information or documentation at any time. We may also require account registration and a written attestation before accepting or fulfilling an order. A false certification is a material breach of our Terms.
Are these products legal to purchase?
You are responsible for knowing and complying with the laws and regulations that apply to you, including those of your state and country. We supply research chemicals to qualified buyers for in-vitro research, but we cannot give legal advice and make no representation about whether a given purchase, possession, or import is lawful in your jurisdiction. If you are unsure, consult a qualified, appropriately licensed professional before ordering. For orders shipped outside the United States, the purchaser is the importer of record and is solely responsible for confirming lawful import.
What form do products ship in?
Our catalog consists of research peptides and reference compounds supplied as lyophilized powder in sealed vials for laboratory research. Orders include the vials only; consumables, solvents, and laboratory supplies are not included.
What testing do you perform, and what is a Certificate of Analysis?
Each production lot of every product is tested by an independent, third-party analytical laboratory before it is released for sale. A Certificate of Analysis (COA) is the document that records those results. Depending on the compound and lot, a COA may report identity, purity by HPLC, mass-spectrometry confirmation of molecular weight, and — where applicable — endotoxin (LPS) and sterility results. Each COA identifies the lot or batch number, the testing laboratory, the methods used, and the date of analysis.
Because testing is performed per lot, the certificate corresponds to the exact material in your vial. A COA documents analytical characteristics for research purposes only; it is not a representation that any product is safe or suitable for use in or on humans or animals.
How do I verify my COA or look up a lot?
Every product page links the lot-matched COA, which is replaced when a new lot is released. To verify, match the lot or batch number printed on your vial against the COA shown on that product’s page. If the numbers do not match, or if you would like independent confirmation, submit the lot number through our Contact page and we will verify it and respond directly. Do you provide dosing, reconstitution, or usage instructions?
No. Verity Peptides is a research-chemical supplier, and handling, reconstitution, dosing, and usage instructions are not included or provided. We do not and cannot provide dosing information, medical or clinical advice, administration instructions, or research-protocol design or guidance, and we decline requests of this kind regardless of how the question is framed. If you have questions about a medical condition or the design of an experiment, please consult a qualified, appropriately licensed professional. Implying an intended use in or on humans or animals is contrary to our Terms and RUO Policy and may result in the restriction of future purchases.
How should products be stored on arrival?
As a general matter of laboratory preservation, lyophilized reference compounds are kept cold, dry, and protected from light. Specific storage conditions vary by compound; where a particular condition applies to a product, it is noted on that product’s page. This is general handling and preservation information only and is not usage, reconstitution, or research-protocol guidance.
What payment methods do you accept?
The payment methods we accept are shown at checkout, and the methods available may change over time. Orders are placed through a secure checkout, and payments are handled by our payment provider under its own terms; Verity does not store complete payment credentials on its systems. Can you refuse or cancel an order?
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase, and no order is binding until we accept it. We may refuse, limit, modify, or cancel any order for any lawful reason, including suspected ineligibility, incomplete or inaccurate information, suspected prohibited-use intent, quantity limits, pricing or description errors, payment concerns, or availability. If an order is canceled after a charge has already been made, it is refunded under our Refund Policy. Full details are in our Terms.
How are orders shipped and tracked?
Orders are typically processed within one to three business days after payment is confirmed, with business days running Monday through Friday and excluding U.S. federal holidays. Domestic U.S. orders ship by a tracked carrier — USPS, UPS, or FedEx, selected at Verity’s discretion — and a tracking number is emailed once the order ships. PO Boxes are accepted only where the assigned carrier delivers to them. Carrier transit estimates are provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed by Verity, and insulated or cold-pack materials may be added where stability warrants. Title and risk of loss pass to you when the order is handed off to the carrier. From that point, loss, theft, delay, or damage in transit is governed by the carrier’s terms and claims process, and we will assist in good faith with carrier claims. You are responsible for the accuracy of your shipping address.
Do you ship internationally?
For orders shipped outside the United States, the purchaser is the importer of record. As the importer of record, you are solely responsible for confirming that import is lawful, obtaining any required permits or authorizations, and paying all duties, taxes, and customs or brokerage fees. Verity makes no warranty that import is lawful in your jurisdiction and is not responsible for packages inspected, delayed, held, returned, or seized by customs. What is your refund and return policy?
We replace or refund any order that arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect. Because of the research-chemical nature of our products, returns are otherwise intentionally narrow: we remedy those qualifying orders rather than accepting general returns of correctly fulfilled items. To start a claim, report the issue within 7 days of delivery through our Contact page, marked “Refund Request,” and include your order number, the lot number, clear photos, and a description. Please do not ship anything back until we confirm a return is needed.
For a verified claim, the remedy is replacement of the affected item or a refund of the amount paid for that item, at Verity’s choice. Opened or seal-broken vials or units cannot be returned or refunded except where they arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method and are typically processed within 5 to 7 business days after the resolution is confirmed; your bank or card issuer may add time. May I resell or redistribute products?
No. Products are sold for your own research use and may not be resold, redistributed, repackaged, or relabeled for human use, veterinary use, or any consumer or clinical application. If a product is transferred at all, the research-use-only restrictions and all labeling and documentation must be preserved, and the products may not be marketed or described as suitable for human or animal use. Violation is a material breach of our Terms.
What terms govern my purchase?
Products are supplied as research-grade material and are sold “as is” and “as available,” with all warranties disclaimed to the fullest extent permitted by law; there is no warranty of fitness for human use or safety. By ordering, you agree to indemnify Verity and Verity Holdings Group, LLC for claims arising from misuse, prohibited resale, breach of the Terms, or violation of law. Our agreements are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes are resolved by final and binding arbitration on an individual basis, taking place in Texas or by remote means where permitted, with a waiver of class, collective, or representative actions where lawful; relief in small-claims court remains available.
